William's journey didn't begin with success.
South Florida, the early years
After years of addiction, selling drugs, violence, and self-destruction, William landed in rehab at 17 years old.
Growing up in South Florida, he spiraled after his parents' divorce — eventually dropping out of school and falling deep into substance abuse and survival mode.
The day he left rehab, his best friend died by suicide.
That pain became the catalyst for transformation.
Over the next decade, William immersed himself in personal development, spirituality, recovery work, and entrepreneurship.
During one of the most difficult chapters of his life — the 2008 financial collapse, when he lost his business, his relationship, and his father within the same season — he underwent a profound spiritual awakening.
Soon after, he moved to Austin and began rebuilding his life from the inside out.
“By his mid 30's, William had built one of the fastest-growing recovery organizations in the country — expanding into multiple treatment centers across Texas and Hawaii with more than 100 employees and 14 properties.”
But despite the outward success, something didn't feel right.
After witnessing a 95% relapse rate within traditional recovery systems, William began questioning whether the industry was truly healing people — or simply managing addiction through a revolving-door model.
In 2019, he made the difficult decision to walk away. He sold his businesses and traveled to Peru for an ayahuasca ceremony that changed everything.
